Martin Methodist receives Golden Cross Foundation Grant

Martin Methodist CollegeMartin Methodist College (MMC) was awarded a $93,000 grant from the Golden Cross Foundation.

The grant will fund a rural health initiative where MMC nursing faculty and nursing students will take health care to the rural, elderly members of the United Methodist churches and provide various intervention services. The objectives of this program are to develop healthier communities, improve residents’ health literacy and navigation for health care needs, develop trust, and improve health communication.
